DUI Checkpoint Results Released By Beverly Hills Police

The Beverly Hills Police Department released the results from its DUI checkpoint on Oct. 24.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Police have released the results from the DUI checkpoint held in the city on Friday.

The checkpoint was held on Oct. 24 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at North Santa Monica Boulevard and Crescent Drive.

In total, 1,560 vehicles passed through the checkpoint and 321 were screened by police, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
  • One driver was arrested for driving under the influence
  • seven drivers were cited for driving without a driver’s license

DUI checkpoint locations are determined based on reported incidents of impaired driving-related crashes, police said.

Funding for the checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
