Bundy Biker Battered by Apple-Hurling Crook

The report of battery said a miscreant threw (and hit) someone riding a bike in the 700 block of South Bundy Avenue at 10 o'clock Saturday night, Feb. 12.

Another curious entry specified three items stolen from a car on Montana. A suit, cash and a book were taken from the unlocked vehicle.

A book? What book?

Enbody emailed an answer: "I know it was not War and Peace."

All the suspects remain at large.

Meanwhile, we wonder if the apple incident is linked to ominous graffiti photographed last week behind the skinny Starbucks.  [See photo.]
