Councilman Bonin Fills Potholes in Brentwood
The Westside city councilman adds to his field work of already picking up trash and trimming trees in his district.
Los Angeles City Councilmember Mike Bonin joined a work crew Monday, July 29 from the Bureau of Street Services to help fill potholes in Brentwood.
"Since my first day as a councilmember, I have focused on putting neighborhoods first by getting out into the communities of my district and working alongside the men and women who provide the basic city services we depend on," Bonin said.
This is Bonin’s second experience filling potholes since taking office on July 1, and he has additionally picked up trash with Bureau of Sanitation workers and trimmed trees with an Urban Forestry Division crew. On Monday, Bonin took to South Church Lane and Joffre Street in Brentwood with work crews to patch the potholes.
Bonin intends to continue these neighborhood workdays throughout his time as a Councilmember.
