Five Things: Sepulveda Blvd. Widening, Expo Phase 2, Shakespeare at the VA

1. Beginning Tuesday night, July 23, the widening of Sepulveda Boulevard south of Skirball Bridge will require frequent reduction of Sepulveda Boulevard from Mountaingate Drive to Skirball Center Drive. It's anticipated to last at least 10 months.

2. There's a community meeting for the Expo Rail Line Phase 2 construction in Santa Monica tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the New Roads School. The Los Angeles construction update is next week, July 30 at the Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services Center at 6:30 p.m. For more information visit http://www.buildexpo.org/.

4. The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is giving many veterans a job. The play with a 1960’s, L.A.-centric twist is running July 9 through July 28 in the Japanese Garden located on the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System’s campus.
