Letter: Send in Your Brentwood Street Repair Submissions
Brentwood Community Council President Nancy Freedman alerts community about deadline to submit street repair submissions to the city.

Dear Brentwood Community Council Board and all stakeholders of the Brentwood community:
The following letter spells out a City program that will improve at least 8 locations in Brentwood. Please fill out the form attached and send to info@Brentwoodcommunitycouncil.org. The submissions will be collected and sent to Bureau of Street Services to be looked at for work to be done on Sept. 20. The deadline for requests is Aug. 30, 2013.
Please circulate to everyone you can reach for suggestion as to what needs fixing. Report nasty sidewalks and big pot holes now. We did this once before with potholes which drew a huge response. Let's hear your requests asap.
The Bureau of Street Services (BSS) will be arriving to perform small asphalt repairs (SAR) as part of the Bureau’s Neighborhood Council Initiative, also known as Operation Neighborhood Council Blitz (NC Blitz).
This communication is to inform you of the opportunity to be the Bureau’s eyes and ears, or as we like to say, a BSS Honorary Inspector. On Sept. 20, 2013, an SAR truck is scheduled to be in the Brentwood Neighborhood Council District to perform repairs to the roadway, curbs, and sidewalks, weather permitting. As Honorary Inspectors, you are encouraged to use the map of your District, which is provided, to determine repair locations.

Your participation will ensure not only success of the program; it will provide an opportunity to improve your neighborhood in a partnership with the Bureau of Street Services.
This will be the first of two NC blitz scheduled for the 2013-14 fiscal year. This is a great opportunity to fix our streets or sidewalks. If you have a problem with a submission, please feel free to email me at GJF165@gmail.com for help with the process.
