U.S. Marine Says Pledge of Allegiance at Brentwood Community Council

U.S. Marine and Brentwood resident David Much stopped by the community council meeting Tuesday, July 2 to say the Pledge of Allegiance and discuss his 2003 tour of Iraq.

Much reported to a unit based in Cherry Point, NC and traveled from the Iraq border to Baghdad as part of the unit there when Jessica Lynch was taken captive.

Much showed items he took from his findings in Iraq when his unit took over the Baath Party headquarters, such as three different gas masks, an Iraqi documentation kit and a Dutch night vision scope.

During the meeting, Much also made a member of the audience an (un)official member of the Baath Party with a certificate obtained from the headquarter raid.
