Awardees will be honored at a festive Awards Celebration attended by local leaders, individuals and elected officials who are passionate about sustainability.

Sustainable San Mateo County (SSMC) is accepting applications until 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 11 for its 2025 Sustainability Awards and Youth Sustainability Award, as well as the Green Building Award, which is awarded jointly by SSMC and the American Institute of Architects San Mateo Chapter.

The awards honor individuals, nonprofits, education institutions, businesses and government agencies that have made an outstanding commitment to sustainable practices in San Mateo County, as well as buildings that have exceptional sustainability features.
