City News: Library Board Vacancies and BHS Graduation

A round-up of city information to keep you informed.

  • The survey on Off Leash Dog results are in and tallied. Learn more about the results during a discussion on June 4 in the Burlingame Recreation Center at 10 a.m.
  • The Library Board has two vacant seats the City seeks to fill. Board members take their ideas to the City Council in order to create the best library collection and programs for Burlingame residents. Applications can be found here and are due June 3.   • The Burlingame Police Department has started a monthly crime prevention newsletter to help keep Burlingame residents safe. Check out the May edition, with tips for safe summer travel and graduation.
  • Each Thursday through mid-September, the Burlingame Fresh Market will be open on Thursdays from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Park Road at Burlingame Avenue. This evening market compliments the regular Fresh Market time of Sundays from 9 a.m. through 1:30 p.m.
  • The Burlingame High School graduates Friday at 4 p.m. at the BHS football field.
