Free Burlingame On The Avenue Street Festival Returns Next Month
Burlingame On The Avenue, one of the Peninsula's favorite summer arts and entertainment festivals is set to return Aug. 17-18.

BURLINGAME, CA -- One of the Peninsula’s favorite summer arts and entertainment festival is returning to Burlingame Avenue in a few weeks.
On Aug. 17-18, the annual "Burlingame on the Avenue" street fair returns, hosted by the Burlingame/SFO Chamber of Commerce. The event, which is free to the community, is expected to attract many thousands of people over the course of the two days.
"Burlingame On the Avenue" features hundreds of talented artisans displaying hand-crafted products. Artists' creations include paintings, textiles, jewelry, children’s fabric books, container gardens, photography, and more. Everything is unique, making the event a good place to find a special treat or gift for family and friends which you can’t find anywhere else.

Once again, the annual event will offer three entertainment stages throughout the festival, which boast a diverse mix of musical and dance performances. Bands play music from different genres, including Americana, Big Band Jazz, Dance Music, Acoustic Rock, Pop, Funk and Blues.

Also featured will be special cultural acts from Japan, Mexico, and Hawaii, and Irish dancers. Folk artists from “Burlingame Sings” are also scheduled to perform both days.
This festival caters to the whole family, with an interactive Kids Zone open to children of all ages, offering carnival style rides and family friendly games.
