How Can We Provide Enough EV Chargers for Everyone?
Experts make recommendations at free event on Oct. 24

What will it take to provide enough electric vehicle (EV) chargers in San Mateo County? Hear from experts, enjoy a free light breakfast and meet lots of folks who care about sustainability at Sustainable San Mateo County's Indicators Report Launch Thursday, October 24, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in Redwood City. Free, but you must pre-register at bit.ly/Indicators_Report.
Each year Sustainable San Mateo County (SSMC) does in-depth research on one key sustainability topic. This year, local cities asked the nonprofit to focus on EV charging infrastructure. San Mateo County is currently not on pace to meet the demand for EV chargers, especially in areas with lots of renters and multifamily housing.
Come and learn what the results of this study, and hear about challenges and possible solutions from experts from Stanford University, the City of Redwood City, Peninsula Clean Energy and Pacific Gas & Electric.
