Help McKinley, Spanish Immersion Win $2,500

Cast your vote to help the McKinley Spanish Immersion Program win money for Spanish-language books.

needs your help. The school has entered a video contest seeking funding for its Spanish Immersion program. The $2,500 prize would purchase more Spanish-language books for the library.

Voting is easy and requires no entrance of an email address or other personal information. Simply visit the website, and check off the box next to McKinley Elementary to cast your vote.

V-me, a Spanish language television station, along with Santillana USA, part of an education publisher, are sponsoring the contest.

McKinley’s Spanish Immersion Program is a two-way bilingual program for both English and Spanish-speaking students. The goal is to have all students fluent in both languages by fifth grade.

All votes must be cast by midnight tonight, June 6.
