Local Author Launches First Children's Book
Residents gathered at Books Inc. for the release of "Daisy's Perfect Word."
Burlingame residents packed Books Inc. this weekend in celebration of the launch of Daisy’s Perfect Word, the first children’s book from Burlingame resident Sandra Feder.
Feder previously wrote for the New York Times and recently transitioned into children’s book writing. Daisy’s Perfect Word is the first of a four-part series featuring Daisy.
Daisy loves words and writes her favorites in a purple-polka-dotted green notebook, teaching readers that words can be fun. Daisy’s Perfect Word is published by Kids Can Press.

Daisy's Perfect Word is currently third on Books Inc.'s best sellers list, second only to two books from the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.
