'March For Our Lives' Rally To Take Place In Burlingame Saturday

BURLINGAME, CA — A “March for Our Lives” rally will be held in Burlingame on Saturday as part of 800 marches nationwide calling for meaningful change on gun legislation.

The rally will begin at 10 a.m. outside Burlingame City Hall, with several leaders expected to speak. It will be followed by a march down Burlingame Avenue.

Several other rallies will be held throughout the Bay Area on Saturday in San Francisco, Oakland, Redwood City, Pacifica and San Jose.

“We're marching in solidarity with hundreds of marches all over the country on June 11. There are marches in San Francisco and Oakland as well, but this is a great option for families with young children and those who may prefer an easy local option,” organizers said on the event’s Facebook page.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a protest sign.
