Massive Power Outage in Central Peninsula

From Burlingame's city manager at 9:34 a.m. 1/16/25:

I just received this information from our PG&E government affairs rep: There is a very large outage happening right now, affecting some 36,300 addresses in the central part of the Peninsula. This is a substation and transmission-related issue and crews and engineers are already on it. I’m told repairs are underway and restoration should happen before noon today.
