Meet Burlingame Police Chief Mike Matteucci

Free program focuses on crime and safety

The Burlingame Neighborhood Network (BNN) invites you to meet Burlingame Police Chief Mike Matteucci on Saturday, February 24, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Sequoia Room A at the Burlingame Community Center, 850 Burlingame Ave. Admission is free, but pre-registration is requested at https://bit.ly/ChiefMatteucci. Light refreshments will be served.

Chief Matteucci will discuss how the Burlingame Police Department responds to calls, manages crime prevention and other topics, including what crimes are trending, hot spots for police calls, police resources for day and night patrols, and how the Automatic License Plate Reader system deters crime. He’ll also offer tips for safeguarding your home and car. There will be plenty of time for questions from attendees.

This program is presented by BNN as part of its mission to encourage neighbors to connect with one another to build a sense of community, become informed about disaster preparedness and support one another during emergencies.
