Peninsula Pet Lovers Invited To 'Kitten Nursery Shower' This Weekend
The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA will feed tiny neonatal kittens, serve snacks and share info on upcoming foster opportunities.

BURLINGAME, CA — The weekend will provide Peninsula pet lovers with a special opportunity to see tiny cats and learn more about ways to volunteer or foster animals at the annual Kitten Nursery Shower planned Saturday in Burlingame.
The Peninsula Humane Society & SCPA will show guests how they syringe-feed neonatal kittens, and share details about their work and ways to help out. Guests are encouraged to bring baby shower gifts for the kittens, detailed on the PHS/SPCA's wishlist, including Breeder's Edge kitten formula and Diamond Naturals wet food.
The family-friendly event promises fun activities for kids and snacks for all courtesy of Trader Joe's and Always Crumbs Bakehouse.

According to organizers, the PHS/SPCA's kitten nursery has saved more than 4,100 kittens since it began in 2008.
