First Presbyterian Church Preschool is now open for Summer and Fall enrollment for children ages 2-5 years old. - Christian play-based developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum. Summer Camp with Vacation Bible School sessions (June 12-August 18) in 5 flexible sessions from ages 2-5 years old. New School year 2023-24 beginning in Fall (starting September 5). We accept 2-year old non-potty trained children (1:5 ratio), and a 1:7 ratio for our 3 and 4 year old children. We have a very spacious, safe and well-kept facility where kids have fun learning. We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. The Burlingame Parks &amp; Recreation Department's Musical Camp is taking its audience back to the early 1900s in the Russian village of Anatevka during its weekend performances of Fiddler on the Roof. The show tells the story of Tevye, his wife and their five daughters trying to balance tradition with changing times while undergoing discrimination for being Jewish at the hands of the Russians. The cast of 8-through-14-year-old campers performs Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. Both shows are free and open to the public at the Burlingame Intermediate School auditorium.
