The Burlingame Parks & Recreation Department's Summer Musical Camp performs "Fiddler on the Roof."
The Burlingame Parks & Recreation Department's Musical Camp is taking its audience back to the early 1900s in the Russian village of Anatevka during its weekend performances of Fiddler on the Roof.
The show tells the story of Tevye, his wife and their five daughters trying to balance tradition with changing times while undergoing discrimination for being Jewish at the hands of the Russians.
The cast of 8-through-14-year-old campers performs Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 1 p.m. Both shows are free and open to the public at the Burlingame Intermediate School auditorium.
