Police Blotter: Loud Drumming For Three Nights

The following information was supplied by the Burlingame Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 26

12:07 p.m. A ladder was leaning up against a power pole in the roadway at the intersection Dwight Road and Peninsula Avenue.

3:46 p.m. A naked male was reported on the corner at the 1300 block of Burlingame Avenue with a sign around his waist that said "Happy Birthday." It turned out the subject was wearing a pair of shorts, but he was sent on his way.

8:18 p.m. Loud drums were reported on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive. The police requested the drummer stop for the night.

Wednesday, July 27

6:17 a.m. A female was walking in the street at Hillside Drive and Montero Avenue without shoes.

9:53 a.m. A female was reportedly staring at a bush for 20 minutes and then danced down the road on the 1200 block of Cortez Avenue. 

7:51 p.m. A drummer was again drumming on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive.

Thursday, July 28

9:27 a.m. A resident had a vehicle egged for the second time in two weeks on the 300 block of Chapin Lane.

12:27 p.m. There was a report of three juveniles riding motorized bikes on the 700 block of Laurel Avenue.

7:26 p.m. Two young adults were reportedly running on the roof of a business on the 1400 block of Burlingame Avenue. They were advised to stay off private property.

Friday, July 29

2:07 p.m. A citizen reported teenagers throwing a ball on the 900 block of Laguna Avenue. The citizen was almost hit by the football.

3:33 p.m. A residential burglary occurred on the 1300 block of Mills Avenue. Entry was made through the rear door.

6:35 p.m. For the third night in a week, loud drum playing was reported on the 3000 block of Arguello Drive.

Saturday, July 30

2:12 a.m. Subjects were taken pictures on the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard. They were advised on park hours and sent along.

5:02 p.m. Strong armed robbery occurred on the 500 block of Burlingame Avenue. Two men took a watch and other property from a victim.

9:25 p.m. Three subjects were yelling at passing cars on Broadway and El Camino Real.
