Police Blotter: One Man Hides in Planter, Another Naps on Lawn

Sunday, June 12

2:01 p.m. A woman was upset over parking on the 200 block of Lorton Avenue and was inside a store throwing items before leaving in a Toyota.

3:22 p.m. There was a fire on the 1800 block of Easton Drive started by a barbecue set too close to a tree.

7:00 p.m. There was a report of a male subject with a gun pulling another person from a car on the 1000 block of Capuchino Avenue. The people were making a movie and the gun was fake, but they were advised about using these types of props in public.

Monday, June 13

5:29 a.m. A subject was found asleep in the lawn on the 1000 block of Capuchino Avenue. The subject had been drinking but was not drunk, and was sent on his way.

9:14 a.m. Flowers and duct tape were found a car on the 1300 block of Paloma Avenue. No permanent damage was done.

9:04 p.m. A GPS and fast track device were stolen from an unlocked car on the 1000 block of Paloma Avenue.

Tuesday, June 14

1:45 a.m. Residents on the 1600 block of Escalante Wy reported that an unknown subject was banging on their door. The police saw no one upon arrival.

8:42 a.m. A GPS and backpack were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight on the 200 block of Myrtle Road.

7:32 p.m. A white male with a red beard carrying a black backpack was hiding in a planter box on the 0 block of Highland Avenue.

8:50 p.m. A resident called to report her neighbor's dog chased her 10-year-old son across the street and he was almost hit by a car on the 1300 block of Sanchez Avenue.
