Police Blotter: Parrot Escapes and Egg Stash Found

Friday, May 25

1:16 a.m. A juvenile wearing white sweat pants, a blue t-shirt and carrying a back pack reportedly broke into a car on the 100 block of Elm Avenue. Police were unable to locate the juvenile.

3:59 a.m. There was a loud noise report on the 1500 block of Los Montes Drive. It turned out to be Public Works employees chopping trees.

12:04 p.m. A female on the 1100 block of Howard Avenue reported that someone is stealing her plants and flowers.

3:31 p.m. There was a report of juveniles running into the road at Quesada Way and Ray Drive and jumping on cars.

Saturday, May 26

12:46 p.m. A citizen reported a claim that an employee of a business uses marijuana. The citizen was advised of what action can be taken.

4:32 p.m. There was a report a man "ranting and raving" by the train tracks on the 200 block of California Avenue. He was waiting for a ride and upset by how long it was taking.

8:36 p.m. A resident reported that his parrot accidentally got out of the house on the 200 block of Peninsula Avenue.

Sunday, May 27

3:14 a.m. A resident on the 100 block of Loma Vista Drive reported knocked over lawn ornaments. It is possible an animal is responsible.

5:30 a.m. Two co-workers on the 1600 block of Rollins Road got in an argument over driving habits.

10:11 a.m. A car was egged overnight on the 0 block of Tiptoe Lane.

5:57 p.m. A person passing by reported five dozen eggs in the bushes at a park on the 1400 block of Laguna Avenue. They were disposed of.
