Police Blotter: Skeletal Remains and Residential Burglaries

Tuesday, March 6
3:39 a.m. A residence was checked on the 0 block of Hayward Court due to an alarm sounding. The side door was open, but there was no sign of forced entry. Police believe the wind blew the door open.
7:11 a.m. A vehicle stolen from San Mateo was found on the 800 block of Mahler Road.

7:48 a.m. An awning from a business on the 1200 block of California Drive fell on a parked car. There were no injuries.
5:02 p.m. A residential burglary occurred on the 1500 block of Carmelita Avenue. A forced entry was made through the front door.

Wednesday, March 7
6:25 a.m. A tree fell on top of a vehicle on the 800 block of Linden Avenue.
9:49 a.m. An unknown gray cylinder was left in the gutter at Howard Avenue and West Lane.
11:06 a.m. A residential burglary occurred on the 2800 block of Adeline Drive.
Thursday, March 8
6:00 a.m. A subject was running in and out of traffic on the 1500 block of Trousdale Drive.
10:44 a.m. A male exposed himself to an employee of a business on the 1800 block of El Camino Real.
8:09 p.m. A vehicle window was broken and jewelry and a computer were taken on Highland Avenue and Howard Avenue.
Friday, March 9
9:01 a.m. An unknown subject vandalized an elevator door on the 1200 block of Donnelly Avenue by writing on the door with chalk.
12:08 p.m. Police responded to a report of a man lying on the ground at Burlingame Avenue and California Drive. He said he was lying out in the sun, but was sent on his way.
2:11 p.m. Skeletal remains were found by a hiker near the 3000 block of Arguello Drive. They were determined to not be human.
