Police Blotter: Stolen Spare Change and Recycling

Sunday, July 31
11:46 a.m. Spare change was taken from an unlocked vehicle on the 1900 block of Ray Drive.
1:09 p.m. Two males got in a verbal fight at the Farmers Market at Burlingame Avenue and Park Road. They were sent on their way.

9:09 p.m. There were reports of an unattended fire pit with coals on the 1200 block of Floribunda Avenue.
Monday, August 1

11:17 a.m. Two juveniles were riding bikes without helmets when one crashed at Cambridge Road and El Camino Real. No one was hurt, but they were advised to wear helmets.
1:14 p.m. A subject shot a car with an air soft gun on the 1200 block of Cortez Avenue. The gun was confiscated.
10:05 p.m. A subject was taking recycling from a restaurant on the 100 block of Lorton Avenue. The subject had permission to take the bottles.
Tuesday, August 2
7:16 a.m. A male was climbing onto a roof on the 1200 block of El Camino Real. He and a female had slept in the courtyard overnight and were advised not to trespass.
2:06 p.m. A residential burglary was interrupted on the 1700 block of Quesada Way.
4:57 p.m. Juveniles were congregating at the corner of Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road. They were contacted and found to be doing nothing wrong.
The City has announced an increase in residential burglaries within the last two months, the majority of which have occurred through an unlocked door or window. Police are reminding residents to lock their doors and windows at night, when leaving home and while out in the yard away from the unlocked door or garage.
