Police Blotter: Suspicious Man in Camouflage and Face Paint and More

Monday, May 28

1:50 a.m. Residents of an apartment on the 1400 block of Floribunda Avenue heard noise coming from the garage. Police checked the area and found no signs of break-ins or vandalism.

3:01 a.m. There was a report of subjects playing football in the Caltrain lot on the 400 block of California Drive. They were sent home.

12:09 p.m. A front license plate was stolen and the rear plate was switched on a vehicle on the 500 block of Marin Drive.

Tuesday, May 29

2:49 a.m. There was a report of a noisy subject at a bus stop at El Camino Real and Howard Avenue. Th subject was gone when police arrived.

10:45 a.m. A resident found a subject trying to burglarize her car on the 1200 block of Paloma Avenue. The suspect rode away on a bicycle.

12:40 p.m. A subject asked for help locating her car downtown, as she had forgotten when she parked it. Police helped her find her vehicle.

Wednesday, May 30

12:14 a.m. The was a report of loud running in an apartment complex hallway on the 900 block of El Camino Real.

10:48 a.m. Property was found in a resident's bushes on the 1800 block of Barroilhet Avenue. A report was taken.

4:43 p.m. A resident complained of her neighbor kicking her dog. The neighbors on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue were disputing over the dog being loose.

6:03 p.m. There was a report of a wheelchair left on the sidewalk at Chula Vista Avenue and Sanchez Avenue. The wheelchair was gone when police arrived.

Thursday, May 31

12:09 a.m. A citizen reported a male wearing camouflage with a painted face on the 700 block of California Drive. He was identified and searched and sent on his way.

1:28 a.m. A resident on the 2500 block of Adeline Drive reported hearing noises in the basement. It appeared the noise was possibly caused by an animal.

4:28 a.m. An argument occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend on the 500 block of El Camino Real. Both had been drinking and were fighting due to the girl's lost dog. The dog was found and the pair went to sleep.
