School Board Seeks New Member

The San Mateo Union High School District is looking to fill a vacancy on its Board of Trustees.

The San Mateo Union High School District is looking for a new trustee. The vacancy on the board occurred after former trustee Dave Pine was chosen as a San Mateo County Supervisor during a May 3 election.

All prospective trustees must be at least 18 years old, California citizens, residents of the school district and registered voters. Beginning at 5 p.m. on July 14, trustee candidates will be interviewed by the current board members. The newest member will be announced at the end of the meeting.

Applications for the position are due July 6 by 3 p.m. in the district office.
