There will be a Sudden Oak Death testing event this weekend in Burlingame.
Cal forest pathology professor Matteo Garbelotto, who is the preeminent expert on the subject of Sudden Oak Death (SOD), will teach us to identify symptoms, to collect leaf samples in our community, and to use a GPS device to determine the precise locations of them.
