Week Ahead: City Council Meets and Burlingame Criterium
Take a look ahead at what's going on in Burlingame this week.

What's on tap for this week? Keep an eye out for these events and stories this week. We'll be there to cover them.
- The City Council meets Monday, June 20 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers. For an agenda of the meeting, click here.
- De Young museum docent Mina Shea will present a lecture and slide show on masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso in Paris on Monday, June 20 in the Lane Community Room of the Burlingame Public Library.
- On Tuesday, June 21, parking lot L, near Fox Plaza Mall, will reopen for public use. The lot was undergoing resurfacing and parking lot striping.
- The Burlingame Public Library will host Family Fun Night on Tuesday, June 21. The event is free, but tickets are required for this family-friendly puppet show.
- Learn how to make the most of the library through computer use at the public library on Thursday, June 23. The hands-on computer lesson is free, but registration is required.
- The Eight Annual Ryan Phua Memorial Kids' Bike Ride will take place Sunday, June 26. The ride raises money for Ryan's Fund, which funds Bay Area cancer-related programs in memory of of Ryan Phua, who died of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood in 2003.
- The Burlingame Criterium rolls into town on Sunday, June 26. The bicycle race takes place in downtown Burlingame, and kids are encouraged to participate in Ryan's Ride.
