Police Blotter: Damaged Orchids and Wedding Dispute

Monday, Feb. 13

8:44 a.m. A residence on the 1100 block of Cortez Avenue was egged by an unknown subject.

11:04 a.m. A Dodge Charger was abandoned on the 1400 block of Cabrillo Avenue.

1:11 p.m. An unknown person broke into a greenhouse on the 900 block of Chula Vista Avenue and damaged orchids.

3:28 p.m. A man was sleeping on the grass median on the 400 block of Burlingame Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

8:44 a.m. An unknown substance was smeared on a car on the 1800 block of El Camino Real. It was wiped off and no permanent damage was found.

9:36 a.m. A stolen vehicle was discovered at Edwards Road and North Carolan Avenue.

3:39 p.m. A rock was thrown through a window on the 600 block of Howard Avenue.

10:22 p.m. A male and female on the 1400 block of Floribunda Avenue got into a fight over their future wedding.

Thursday, Feb. 16

12:51 a.m. There were subjects out at the golf center on the 200 block of Anza Boulevard. They turned out to be mechanics working on trucks.

8:09 a.m. Two subjects were sleeping in a vehicle on the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard. They were told of the City ordinance prohibiting sleeping cars.

9:10 a.m. A citizen found a briefcase that fell out a vehicle at El Camino Real and Sanchez Avenue.

1:28 p.m. A blind man was reportedly walking in the street at Bayswater Avenue and Highland Avenue.
