Video has been released showing the Nov. 1 police shooting at Sagebrush Cantina restaurant in Calabasas.

CALABASAS, CA — Police have released footage from the Nov. 1 incident where a homeless man attacked someone with a machete and then ran into a restaurant, where he was fatally shot by police.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to the area of West Calabasas Road and Mulholland Drive at around 7:45 p.m. Nov. 1 for a report that a man had attacked someone with a machete in a McDonald's parking lot, police said.
During the attack, the suspect, Benjamin Pritchard, dropped the machete and produced a knife. When officers arrived, they pursued Pritchard, who was also armed with a glass bottle, into the nearby Sagebrush Cantina restaurant, police said.

"Officers continued to verbalize with Pritchard who refused to comply, resulting in two TASER deployments. The first was ineffective and the second TASER deployment resulted in Pritchard falling to the ground, causing him to break the bottle in his possession. Pritchard, still armed with the knife, stood up, and ran inside the restaurant outdoor seating area. Numerous patrons were still inside the restaurant," reads an LAPD release.
Pritchard then turned towards the officers holding up the knife and was subsequently struck by an officer's gunfire, according to police.
