Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center Celebrates 20 Years

CALABASAS, CA — The Agoura Hills/ Calabasas Community Center is turning 20 years old in December, and is celebrating with an event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on December 12.

The free event will include a short presentation, tours of the center and the chance to climb the rock walk, entertainment and demos, and a wish wall for visions for the Community Center’s next 20 years, the press release said.

"The JPA Board and Community Center invite you to come celebrate 20 years of memories while looking forward to the next 20 years!" the Community Center press release said. "We would like to thank our community partners, community members, and staff for making this a wonderful place to be on this special evening."

The Community Center is governed by a Joint Powers Authority with board members from Agoura Hills and Calabasas. It was originally created to provide a local center for both cities, and continues to offer events, health and fitness programs, recreation classes for all ages, and a rental space for its two local cities and more, the press release said.
