Calabasas Man Killed In Malibu Crash

The 76-year-old Calabasas man was hit and killed by a car on Pacific Coast Highway​ in Malibu.

CALABASAS, CA — A pedestrian who was hit and killed by a car on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu was publicly identified Saturday.

Ronald Fuote, 76, was a Calabasas resident.

The crash was reported about 7:20 p.m. Friday in the 21300 block of Pacific Coast Highway, according to sheriff's and county fire officials.

A nurse who was at the scene reported the patient had no pulse, a fire department dispatcher said.

A tweet from the sheriff's Malibu-Lost Hills Station said there had been a fatal collision at the location and all lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed.

A report from the scene about 8:30 p.m. showed traffic moving on one lane in either direction.
