Calabasas Named Top City For Online Window Shopping: Analysis

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas is among the most popular cities in the country for online window shoppers, according to a recent Zillow report.

Calabasas ranked the most popular small town in the United States for online perusing. Zillow attributed Calabasas' popularity the high typical home value and celebrity clientele. The analysis considered all cities with populations between 15,000 and 25,000 small towns.

Calabasas also ranked the second most overall desirable city following South Lake Tahoe and beating out neighboring Malibu. Other categories included most popular vacation town and most popular college town, many of which highlighted California cities.

Zillow's analysis included multiple factors to determine how popular a city was online including: Zillow's page-view traffic, housing available in the city, average price appreciation and more, according to the report.

The online ranking also followed pandemic real estate trends, like interest in good year-round weather, affordability and how conducive a home is to remote working, according to Zillow.
