Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center Pool Repairs Will Start Soon

The city hopes to reopen the pools by February, but a wet winter could delay things.

CALABASAS, CA — Repairs will begin soon on the pools at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center and officials hope to reopen the pools by February — if the weather cooperates.

As part of ongoing renovations at the center, crews will next begin replacing the concrete pool deck around the start of November. It's expected to be completed by the end of the year, Mayor David Shapiro said in his weekly letter to the community.

Next, crews will re-plaster both pools. That work is expected to be finished by late January or early February.

"The weather is the big unknown. If we get a lot of rain like last winter, it may push the reopening until March," Shapiro wrote.

The Tennis & Swim Center's other facilities remain open during the renovation.
