As you drive or walk through Calabasas you see a city in bloom. Those efforts were recognized this week by America in Bloom (AIB) as Calabasas took first place honors in the organization’s annual contest while receiving a five “bloom” rating, the highest rating AIB awards.
In announcing the results, America in Bloom officials singled out Home Owners Association volunteers Kathy Berkowitz, Marie Colabella and Henry Cespedes for their valuable contributions throughout the year.
AIB also recognized City of Calabasas Landscape District Manager Steve Ball for his invaluable expertise and Calabasas City Manager Tony Coroalles for introducing America in Bloom to Calabasas, along with staffing, delegating and orchestrating the process.
