Gas Prices Continue to Drop

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today for the 26th consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.05. Prices at the Calabasas pumps are a few cents higher, but less than they were in the city a week ago.

The average price is 5.7 cents less than one week ago and 22 cents lower than one month ago, but $1.031 higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
