A burglar ransacked a Calabasas home and stole gold rings, rare coins and silver silverware last week. The burglary was reported on March 1 on Park Alisal in Calabasas, according to the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff's Station. The homeowners returned from a two-day trip and discovered their home had been ransacked and gold rings worth $2,000, silver worth $1,500 and rare coins worth $600 had been taken. Investigators determined that the burglar entered by prying open a sliding glass door.
