Jason Momoa Involved In Head-On Crash With Motorcycle In Calabasas

Actor Jason Momoa was in a crash involving a motorcyclist, authorities say. One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

CALABASAS, CA — Actor Jason Momoa was in in a crash involving a motorcyclist in Calabasas and one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, authorities said.

A motorcycle was heading west on Old Topanga Road on Sunday morning when it crossed over the double yellow lines and collided head on with a vehicle driven by Momoa, the California Highway Patrol said. Momoa, known best for his roles in the HBO hit TV series "Game of Thrones" and "Aquaman," was reportedly driving a 1970 Oldsmobile.

The motorcycle barreled into the left, front-hand side of Momoa's vehicle, throwing the rider, authorities said in a news release. Momoa got out of his vehicle to help the motorcyclist and flagged down a passing driver to dial 9-1-1.

The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

Momoa, 42, was not hurt, authorities said.

Videos obtained by TMZ showed several emergency responders working the wreck. One video appears to show Momoa walking to his Oldsmobile.
