With the dry season upon us, summer is a good time to learn water-wise gardening.
Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) will host a series of four classes scheduled to run in August and September. Registration for each class can be done online at the District’s website, www.LVMWD.com.
“Late summer and early autumn are a great time to plan and begin work on a more water-efficient landscape,” said David W. Pedersen, LVMWD’s General Manager. “The dry year we’ve experienced is a reminder that we should work toward reducing irrigation, which is the greatest part of most customers’ water use. These classes are an excellent place to begin that process.”
