Calabasas Is Getting A New Venue For Acoustic Music

The expansive patio at Rose's Garden Bar will welcome musicians periodically throughout the week.

CALABASAS, CA — Rose's Garden Bar, which opened last year at The Summit, is adding live, acoustic music to its expansive outdoor patio.

The city Planning Commission last week approved a proposal by the bar and restaurant to modify its patio and feature music in the outdoor space.

Rose's plans to host musicians periodically on weekdays between 5-8 p.m. and at various times on weekends. City noise rules restrict performances after 10 p.m.

The restaurant, which already renovated the patio area prior to opening, will add finishing touches like faux wood and artificial greenery and flowers to the space. Some of those additions had been previously allowed on a temporary basis; the Planning Commission approval allows Rose's to install them on a permanent basis.

The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Erewhon. It opened last year with a menu that includes everything from duck and waffles and giant ricotta pancakes to short rib smash burgers and Wagyu ribeye. It even has a dog menu!
