'Living With Fire' in the Santa Monica Mountains, Film and Lectures

Living with fire is a reality for communities situated within the Santa Monica Mountains. And just in time for wildfire season, the National Park Service is unveiling the film Living With Fire: The USGS Southern California Wildfire Risk Project as part of an informational afternoon Tuesday, July 16, at the King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas.

The event, which runs from 1-4 p.m., will feature a showing of the film as well as fire themed lectures, demos and hikes.
