Meirav Ben-Gal: Calabasas Hero

CALABASAS, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Relationship to nominee: She volunteered to shop for groceries for us during the pandemic because we are in a high-risk age group.

Reason for recognition: She is reliable and always ready to help.

One thing to know: She doesn't have to do this. She is not family or even a friend. She just volunteered to give help where needed for the pandemic, and carries that out with excellence.
