Pirates, Skating And Outer Space: Calabasas Summer In The Park
The city of Calabasas will host a series of family-friendly events at De Anza Park throughout the summer.
CALABASAS, CA — It's B.Y.O.P. at De Anza Park this summer — bring your own picnic. The city will provide the pixie magic and outer space wonder.
The city of Calabasas will host a series of family-friendly events in the park, located at 3701 Lost Hills Road, throughout the summer. Up first is a "Pirates & Pixies Picnic" from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Kids will play pirate and pixie themed games and activities, according to the city of Calabasas.
Attendees are invited to bring along picnic food, a blanket and chairs for "an afternoon of quality time with the family," according to the city.

On July 29, Calabasas residents can participate in a "Summer Vibes Skate Night" from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to bust out their best roller blading tricks.
The event series will close with an outer space-themed "Park in the Dark" event from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 19.

The city planned a number of free summer activities, including a concert series at Calabasas Lake. Neighboring Agoura Hills scheduled a series of free movie screenings at Reyes Adobe Park.
