Police Blotter: Phones, Laptops Stolen From Cars and Homes
There were several crimes against property reported in Calabasas over the past week.

Grand theft at house party
On May 27 between 2–3:15 a.m in the 3000 block of Calle Serranona, Calabasas, two computers and two phones with a combined value of $7,800 went missing. The victim of the theft reported that she had a small party at her house at the time of the theft, and that multiple people had turned up to the party that were unknown to her. During the course of the party, the uninvited guests became unruly and were asked to leave, according to the victim.
Attempted burglary in the 5000 block of Newcastle Lane

The attempt occurred between 2–3 p.m. on May 29; the resident received a call from ADT security saying that his alarm had been set off. He returned home to find his front door cracked at the bottom. But the entryway was secure, and he could notice nothing missing from his home.

A car on the 22000 block of Cairnloch Street, Calabasas, was broken into sometime between 9 p.m. on May 25 and 6 a.m. on May 26. The thief made off with $250 in cash, 6 Alison Kraus concert tickets, a pair of Prada prescription sunglasses and an iPod. As the vehicle was unlocked, the car was undamaged by the thief.
Burglary from a vehicle
The incident occured in the 26000 block of Alizia Canyon Road, Calabasas, between midnight on May 26 and 5:30 a.m. the following morning. A computer laptop, Tumi briefcase and wallet containing $100 were taken. The rear passenger window was smashed, causing $500 worth of damage.
Petit theft from bakery on Commons Way
An iPhone worth $300 was left unattended by its owner, and not at the table the victim said she left it at when she returned. The incident occured on May 28 at approximately 2:30 p.m.
