CANOGA PARK, CA — A small earthquake rocked Canoga Park early Monday morning.

The 2.6 magnitude earthquake hit around 7:35 a.m. Monday, causing some light shaking through most of the San Fernando Valley and some of Los Angeles, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was centered near the intersection of Sherman Way and Independence Ave, according to USGS. It could be felt from Simi Valley in the north to Santa Monica in the south, and from Westlake Village in the west to Hollywood in the east, according to USGS.
