CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas High School graduate Jermaine Burton made a high-profile switch from the University of Georgia to the University of Alabama, according to BamaInsider.

Burton announced his transfer for the 2022 season Sunday.

Burton was one of eight players to leave the University Georgia this month, and one of three players transferring to Alabama this season coming from Louisiana State University, the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech, according to BamaInsider.

Burton graduated from Calabasas High School in 2020 and went directly to the Georgia Bulldogs. He was the No. 99 recruit in the class of 2020 and had offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Oregon and more, ESPN reported.
