Why Go: If you or your child plans to attend next year, stop by Thursday and walk through the halls.

2. SOQUEL HIGH SCHOOL PANCAKE BREAKFAST
Where/When: Soquel High School, 401 Old San Jose Rd. 7-11 a.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Chow down on a plate of bottomless pancakes while enjoying music from Soquel High’s bands and choruses.
Pricing: $5 per person. Money goes toward Soquel High music programs and scholarships.
3. WATCH THE SUPER BOWL ON THE ESPLANADE
Where/When: Zelda’s, Margaritaville and The Fog Bank along The Esplanade, Capitola. Sunday afternoon.
Why Go: Because where else can you walk from restaurant to restaurant and continue watching the Super Bowl, with a break to take in the waves.
Pricing: Free
4. PRO JAM AFTER THE SUPER BOWL
Where/When: Pam Hawkins will host Pro Jam at The Fog Bank, 211 Esplanade, Capitola. 7-11 p.m. Sunday.
Why Go: If you have more energy after the game is over.
Pricing: Free
5. SUPER BOWL SPECIAL DINNER
Where/When: Gayle’s Bakery will feature coconut shrimp, postcard’s rice and garlic sauteed spinach for Super Bowl dinner. It will be served cold to-go at 2 p.m. or hot from 4-8:30 p.m.
Why go: To pick up food for the game, for a meal afterward or for a place to retreat if your team is losing.
Pricing: $12.95 per plate
