May 27

Vehicle theft: An adult man and a teenage girl were arrested on the 2000 block of Wharf Road around 4:45 a.m. He was also jailed for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. 

Vandalism: Reported on the 800 block of Bay Avenue twice on Monday

Shoplifting: Reported on the 4000 block of Capitola Road twice on Monday.

Parole Hold: A woman was arrested on the 100 block of Castillion Terrance. 

Car Burglary: Items were stolen from the back of a truck on the 1300 block of 41st Avenue.

May 25
Shoplifting: A man was arrested at the Capitola Mall. 

May 24
Vandalism: Reported on the 4400 block of Diamond Street.

Disorderly Conduct: A man tried to pull a gun off a peace officer's duty belt. He was intoxicated and went to jail. It happened on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue around 1:40 p.m.

Shoplifting: A woman was arrested on the 4000 block of Capitola Avenue around 4 p.m.

Shoplifting: A man was ticketed on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue, his second citation for theft that day. 

Sexual Battery: Police took a report that a medically institutionalized person had been abused on the 4700 block of Opal Cliff Drive.

Gun Brandishing: Someone pulled a firearm near Highway 1 and 41st Avenue around 6:10 p.m. but he was gone when police arrived.
