Woman Arrested On Suspicion Of Vehicular Manslaughter, DUI
Julissa Guzman Ortiz, 21, of Watsonville, allegedly left the scene but was later arrested, CHP officials said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian on Saturday evening in unincorporated Santa Cruz County has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Julissa Guzman Ortiz, 21, of Watsonville, has been arrested for striking the pedestrian around 5 p.m. Saturday at 5320 Soquel Drive east of Santa Cruz, CHP officials said.Ortiz was driving west in a Lincoln LS and struck the pedestrian, who was crossing the street at the time. Ortiz left the scene but was later
arrested, CHP officials said.
The identity of the pedestrian hasn't been released.
