Woman Who Jumped Off Overpass Was From Capitola
Tragedy stopped Highway 1 traffic in Aptos on Tuesday.
The woman who died after jumping from the State Park Drive overpass onto Highway 1 on Tuesday was Azin Jones, 41, from Capitola.
Jones stopped her Lexus on the Aptos overpass, got out and went over the bridge into northbound traffic, according to sheriff's Lt. Bob Pursley. The event happened about 8:20 a.m.
