Cerritos, Artesia Gas Prices Dip Below $4
It is the first time gas has dropped below $4 per gallon since August.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County and Cerritos-Artesia decreased today for the 30th consecutive day, falling 2.2 cents to $3.961, one day after dropping under $4 for the first time since Aug. 9.
The average price has decreased 74.4 cents over the past 30 days, including 2 cents on both Tuesday and Wednesday, after rising 50.4 cents over the previous seven days and reaching a record high of $4.705 on Oct. 9, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 16.4 cents less than one week ago and 74.2 cents lower than one month ago, but 9.6 cents higher than one year ago.

However, even though consumers are getting some relief at the pump, the Automobile Club of Southern California said that prices are still above normal.
“Even with these huge price declines, this is the first year ever that Southern California gas price averages have been above $4 a gallon on Nov. 1,” said Auto Club spokesperson Jeffrey Spring. “We’re encouraging drivers to continue to aggressively shop for the lowest possible gas prices," he said.
