Cerritos Hosts Korean Soccer Club's 25th Annual Tournament
Some 500 players gathered at the Cerritos Sports Complex on Aug. 7 to take part in the daylong event.
The at played host to the Korean Soccer Club's 25th Annual Tournament this past Sunday.
Some 35 teams consisting of about 500 players took part in the daylong tournament -- some participants coming from as far as San Francisco and San Diego.
Cerritos' Mayor Carol Chen along with councilmembers Joseph Cho and Mark Pulido were also in attendance.

Chen said she and her council colleagues were "delighted that the City of Cerritos (was) the host" for the festivities.
"Soccer is a sport which requires great sportsmanship, dedication and physical stamina," the mayor added. "Again, Congratulations to all the teams and players for a very successful tournament!"
